What problems are you having? maybe I can help you figure it out. If you save the pictures to your desktop or to a folder, you should be able to add them.
I can't find the option to "save to desktop". What I get is an opportunity to sign-up for microsoft or other photo sharing/processing... I can, I think, recover a photo by date and its specific number, but I don't know what the picture is until it is transfered. If I had them all cataloged with good descriptions I could do it.
