First Day of School

Baylee is staring 2nd grade and Skyler is starting 5th grade. When I asked them what they would learn this year, Baylee said she would learn to read better and Skyler said he would learn about puberty!

Nicaragua ~ aka The Petting Zoo

My friends Amy, John, John, & Ashley on the ferry to Ometepe,
a really neat island with two active volcanoes in the center of a giant lake in Nicaragua.

This spider (araña) was seriously three inches. The other is a pet squirrel.


Our hostel had a pet deer that loved to lick the salt off your arms!


This monkey was mad that my camera had a flash and
came down from the roof to try to steal my camera away!


This kitten still hadn't been weened so I had to dip my finger
in the milk for it to drink. I wanted to take it home so badly, but
didn't know if I could get it across the Nicaraguan border into
Costa Rica.

Flaming Gorge

Just got back from Flaming Gorge camping! We had a great time. Baylee even learned how to waterski! Skyler is jumping higher on the wakeboard and Hurley absolutely loved the water! Looks like we'll have another dog at Lake Powell. Fletcher hobbled around with his new cast and even jumped off some cliffs! He's crazy :)

My friend took us to his ranch where we rode horses out to call the cows home. We then went out to the only bar in town, where he knew everyone there.

Wedding
